I have been so pleased with the Jebao CW-55 Here are some tips on keeping your unit trouble free. Always use the correct pluming fittings to avoid leaks. I use white teflon tape on my fitting connections. Keep your unit out direct sun light! This will prevent damage to the plastic material breaking down though the years of use. Always remove your unit in winter time. I run my two units 12 hours per day and 7months out of the year. I have run these units for over 5yrs and have had very few issues. Replaced 2 Bulbs and 1 ballast. When I first started learning about my pond my water looked ugly with in a week. I tried chemicals,water changes and other options NOTHING WORKED! Then I installed The Jebao CW-55 WOW! My water remains Crystal Clear And Clean all season long. I really enjoy seeing my colorful koi fish in such a Crystal Clear Water.
